Yucatan Grand Tour

Our trip begins from Cancun.  Once you arrive at the airport, your All-Inclusive Adventure begins.  We will enjoy a group dinner and go over all last minute details.  On our first day we will drive to the beautiful Bacalar Laguna.  This is one of the most beautiful areas in the Yucatan.  Enjoy a boat tour in the afternoon.  On Day 3 we have a short drive to the Dzibanche, Kinichna and Kohunlich.  The focus will be on the Maya Pre-classic and introduction to the Snake Kingdom.  In the afternoon another brief drive delivers us to the outstanding Rio Bec Dreams hotel.  Day 4 is truly exciting!  We will view the Chenes style architecture at Chicanna before we turn our attention to the amazing site of Calakmul deep in the biosphere.  On our return we'll stop at the famous Bat Volcano site - not to be missed.  On our way to the World Heritage city of Campeche our two stops will be at the significant site of Balamku with a fascinating historical stucco and Edzna with an eclectic mix of architectural styles.  The focus on Day 6 shifts from the Maya ruins.  Our trip starts in the maya town of Pomuch where we'll see the lasting impact of Maya cosmology in the current era.  In Becal you will visit a small Panama hat factory - underground!  Finally, we'll be refreshed at the most luxurious cenote experience on the Peninsula.  Our day ends at the unique Pickled Onion boutique hotel. Day 7 is devoted to the Puuc region.  Uxmal is a real jewel and is the highlight with its spectacular architecture.  The small site of Labna has an iconic photo opportunity.  Merida is one of the hottest destinations in Mexico.  Find out why this city of culture and art is high on many bucket lists.  You have the option of a city tour for a few hours or explore the city on your own.  On Day 9 the final Maya site of Chichen Itza is on our agenda.  Here you will get an understanding of the Maya Post-Classic.  We then return to Cancun prior to your departure the next day.
